Secure Ordering
When you submit an RFQ or Purchase Order via online submission, email or phone, USIQ is committed to providing a safe and secure shopping environment. We consider the online security of your payment and personal information to be a top priority. All credit and payment card transactions are backed by our Safe Shopping Guarantee which promises that you will never pay for any unauthorized charges made on your account by USIQ.
All payment information, including credit or payment card number, name, address, etc. is encrypted via Secure Socket Layout (SSL). SSL is industry standard technology that ensures that all information sent to us remains private and cannot be read by any third parties during transmission.
All credit and payment card information is processed via a secure payment gateway which protects all personal information. For more information on how USIQ keeps your personal information safe, please review our Privacy Policy.

Order Change and Cancellation Policy
USIQ is dedicated to providing exemplary customer service to all customers. We pride ourselves on our ability to quickly and accurately process all orders. Accordingly, if you wish to change or cancel your order for any reason, please contact USIQ as soon as possible. Changes or cancellations are not always possible and depend on the particular circumstances of the order and associated products.
Order changes and cancellations can be requested by contacting USIQ. In the event that the order has been processed, shipped, and/or is a special order; order changes and cancellations will not be permitted.
A USIQ Representative will attempt to process your order change or cancellation request immediately upon receipt by online phone, telephone inquiry or email. If your request is successfully completed, a confirmation will be provided to you by email or phone. Please note that if you do not receive a confirmation from USIQ, conditions likely exist that prohibit the change or cancellation. Most often these are orders that have been processed, shipped and/or are special orders that cannot be changed or cancelled. For more information, Please Contact us.
USIQ reserves the right to cancel your order for any reason. If your order is canceled, you will receive a notification via email or phone with an explanation and options.
Return Policy
Exchanges and Returns
All exchanges and returns must be pre-authorized prior to shipping the item(s) back to USIQ. Please contact us to request Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). The request for a return does not itself constitute authorization to return the merchandise and USIQ reserves the right to refuse any return, which does not have a pre-authorization. Once your return is approved and RMA is provided, please follow the return instructions and return the merchandise as soon as possible. Please note that your RMA number is only active for 10 days from the date of submission, so don’t delay!
Return Conditions: All Items must be returned in NEW condition (i.e., not used, broken or worn), in the original manufacturer’s packaging and with all original contents included.
Restocking Fees: We do not charge any restocking fees for returned goods that meet the terms and conditions of our Return Policy. However, there are items that USIQ is unable to exchange or refund and other exceptions can apply. Please contact us for further information on these exceptions.
With respect to government contracts or contractual vehicles, USIQ will abide by the specific provisions of the government purchase order or agreement and any applicable laws and regulations that govern that purchase order or mechanism.

Product & Brand Specific Policies
USIQ is continuously adding new brands and categories to meet our customers’ needs. Please note that certain products, brands and programs require exceptions to our normal policies and procedures. For more information on these additional requirements, please see the following:
DEMO Product Policy
From time to time certain products may be offered for sale as “DEMO Products”. It is the customer’s responsibility to ask any questions necessary to determine the condition of the product prior to purchase. All sales and DEMO Products are final and non-refundable.
Special Made to Order Products Policy
Certain purchase orders require USIQ to source a specialty product or a larger than normal quantity of a product. These orders are referred to as Special Made to Order Products and are subject to Terms and Conditions set forth at the time of the purchase. Such orders cannot be changed or cancelled, and are not refundable or returnable, unless otherwise stated by USIQ.

- Contact Information, including Email Address and Telephone Number
- Financial and Credit Information, as needed
- Order Information
- Information Specific to Individual Customers

U.S. Federal, State and Local Laws / Regulations and Product Restrictions
USIQ offers several items that are restricted for sale in the United States of America by federal, state, and/or local laws and regulations. Sale of these restricted items may be limited to United States Military, Law Enforcement, Correctional Facility Personnel, Security Guards, Peace Officers, and various other authorized users.
USIQ makes its best effort to ensure that it remains current on all laws and regulations as applicable. Please be aware that United States federal, state, and/or local laws and regulations are complex and are subject to change. Therefore, any summaries of such laws and regulations provided by USIQ at any time can never and will never serve as legal advice or counseling in any way. If you have any questions about any law or regulation, USIQ advises you to consult with an attorney who will represent your interests. It is ultimately the Customer’s responsibility to investigate and ensure that any item is legal to use, carry, possess, purchase and/or own within the Customer’s intended federal, state and/or local area.
Items regulated by United States federal, state, and/or local laws and regulations may include, but are not limited to, Ammunition, Body Armor, Helmets, Shields, Entry Tools, Lasers, Batons, Insignia, Restraints, Handcuffs, Gun Accessories and Gun Parts, Knives, Automatic Knives, and Pepper Spray. Purchase of any restricted item may require various documents, including, but not limited to, a purchase order on department or institution letterhead, an official identification, and/or additional certification forms. USIQ expressly reserves the right to require any documentation as it deems necessary to ensure compliance with any applicable laws and regulations or any other purpose. Further, USIQ’s reservation of rights includes, but is not limited to, the right to require end user and end use information and/or compliance certification forms from any Customer.
By proceeding with a transaction to purchase any restricted item, the Customer certifies that (i) the Customer has reviewed all United States federal, state, and/or local laws and regulations related to the use, possession, purchase and/or ownership of the restricted item(s); (ii) the Customer is legally permitted to resell, transfer, use, possess, purchase and/or own the restricted item(s); (iii) the Customer does not intend to transfer the item(s) contrary to United States federal, state, and/or local laws and regulations; (iv) the item(s) will be used for lawful purposes only, and the Customer is not associated with any criminal group or criminal enterprise; (v) the Customer is at least 18 years of age, or of the appropriate legal age for an item according to applicable federal, state, and/or local laws and regulations; (vi) the Customer is under no legal disability that would prevent the Customer from using, possessing, purchasing, owning, and/or transferring the item(s); and (viii) the Customer has read and understands the Export Policy; and (ix) if applicable, Customer understands and agrees to restrictions on the return of certain regulated products.
By purchasing any item from USIQ, the Customer certifies that the Customer will comply with any and all requirements imposed by applicable U.S. federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and administrative policies.
USIQ does not manufacture, produce or assemble many of the products or items it sells and is not responsible for any claims relating to infringement by the product of thirdparty intellectual property rights. USIQ makes no warranties, express or implied, with respect to the quality of such products or the results that customer may achieve utilizing such products, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for particular purpose (to the extent applicable) which are hereby disclaimed and excluded. In no event will USIQ be liable to Customer for any lost profits or indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary or punitive damages. USIQ’s liability is limited to replacing defective goods. Pursuant to the California Song- Beverly Consumer Warranty Act, products are sold “AS IS” and “WITH ALL FAULTS”.
Any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to Customer’s purchase of any product from USIQ shall be settled by arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association in accordance with its Commercial Arbitration Rules. Venue for any arbitration, or any legal dispute, shall lie only in the City of Chicago, Cook County, Illinois and in no other venue or forum. The laws of Illinois shall apply to all transactions.

International Shipping

USIQ specializes in shipping internationally and aspires to make the process as simple as possible for our customers. Most of our products can be shipped to almost any destination worldwide. For all customers with either an international billing or shipping address in their order, please read the following and contact us via phone or email should you have any questions contact us.
All international shipping options utilize a mix of reliable carriers to ensure your order is delivered in a secure and timely manner. After the order is placed, the system automatically selects the most efficient shipping method based on destination, size, and weight.
Please make sure to check your local laws, rules and regulations in regard to all custom/ brokerage fees, duties, taxes and restrictions imposed on goods imported into the country of destination as all fees mentioned above are the responsibility of the recipient and not USIQ. All costs incurred on a refused delivery because of high custom or brokerage fees, duties, taxes or restrictions imposed by the country of destination are the responsibility of the customer.
Please note that some products are prohibited from shipping internationally and/or may require additional authorization from the U.S. Government or our suppliers. Sometimes, this is due to contractual restrictions by our manufacturing partners. In other cases, restrictions are imposed by the U.S. Government. For more details, please read our “Export Policy and Export Restrictions” below. We will notify you if there are any restrictions which prevent your order from shipping.
EXPORT POLICY
The U.S. Department of State’s Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Bureau of Industry and Security, and the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control administer export control regulations that affect some aspects of our business. We request that you (the “Customer”) read and familiarize yourself with the following regarding certain applicable export regulations.
The sale, transfer, transportation, or shipment outside of the U.S. of any product prohibited or restricted for export without complying with U.S. export control laws and regulations, including proper export licensing, documentation or authorization, is strictly prohibited and may result in civil penalties and/or constitute a federal crime. USIQ and its affiliates will not engage in any transaction that requires the illegal export of any products and will not assist directly or indirectly with the illegal export or re-export of any products. An accurate Automated Export System (AES) filing must be made, whether or not the exportation requires a license.
If you wish to purchase an item for ultimate shipment or use outside of the United States, please indicate this fact in your order. Depending on the value of the order, specific item(s), end user, country of ultimate destination and end use, an export license with the appropriate U.S. government agency may be required. Several USIQ items may require an export license, including, but not limited to, the following:
- Generation 2, or 3 Night Vision Equipment and Night Vision Accessories
- Thermal Imaging Equipment and Heat Seekers
- Optical Sighting Equipment and Tactical Lights (both Hand-Held and Weapon-Mountable), Accessories, and Mounting Hardware
- Personal protection equipment, body armor, shields, and helmets
- Ammunition and firearm accessories/components
- Entry tools, batons, restraints, handcuffs
All orders shipping to U.S. Military addresses must comply with U.S. Export Control Laws and Regulations. Under these laws, all shipments to an APO/FPO/DPO are considered international; therefore, export restrictions are applicable.
International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR): Some USIQ item(s) are subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and export is strictly prohibited without authorization or a license issued by the U.S. Department of State’s Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. By proceeding with a transaction to purchase any ITAR restricted item(s), the Customer certifies that (i) the purchase does not require USIQ to export such items, unless USIQ is aware of the export and has obtained the appropriate U.S. Government authorization; (ii) the Customer does not intend to export such items after receipt without the appropriate U.S. Government export authorization; (iii) the Customer does not intend to export, transfer, sell, or furnish the item to any foreign person, whether abroad or in the U.S., including any Foreign Embassy in the U.S., without the appropriate U.S. Government export authorization; (iv) the Customer understands that a foreign person under the ITAR § 120.16 means “any natural person who is not a lawful permanent resident as defined by 8 U.S.C. § 1101(a)(20) or who is not a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. §1324b(a)(3),” and can mean “any foreign corporation, business association, trust, society, or any other entity or group that is not incorporated or organized to do business in the U.S., as well as international organizations, foreign governments, and any agency or subdivisions of government (e.g. diplomatic missions)” (See ITAR § 120.16); (v) the Customer is a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR § 120.15, meaning the Customer is a lawful permanent resident of the U.S., as defined by 8 U.S.C. § 1101(a)(20), or is a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3), or is a “corporation, business association, partnership, society, trust, or any other entity, organization or group that is incorporated to do business in the U.S., or is a governmental (federal, state, or local) entity” (See ITAR § 120.15).
Export Administration Regulations (EAR): Some USIQ item(s) are subject to the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and export may be restricted by the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Bureau of Industry and Security. By proceeding with a transaction to purchase any restricted item(s), the Customer certifies that (i) the purchase does not require USIQ to export such items, unless USIQ is aware of the export and has obtained the appropriate U.S. Government authorization; (ii) the Customer does not intend to export such items after receipt without the appropriate U.S. Government export authorization.
Important Export Restrictions Warning!
(1) Export of some USIQ products is strictly prohibited without a valid export license issued by the U.S. Department of State, in accordance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) (22 C.F.R. 120-130) or a valid export license issued by the U.S. Department of Commerce, in accordance with the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) (15 C.F.R. 730-774).
(2) U.S. law prohibits the sale, transfer, or export of items to certain restricted parties, destinations, and embargoed countries, as identified on lists maintained by the U.S. Department of State, the U.S. Department of Commerce, and the U.S. Department of Treasury. It is the responsibility of the Customer to be aware of these lists, which can be found at the following U.S. Government websites. By proceeding with any transaction, the Customer certifies that the Customer will not engage in any unauthorized transaction involving the export of USIQ products to any restricted parties or destinations.
By proceeding with a transaction to purchase any USIQ items, the Customer certifies that it will comply with all requirements imposed by all applicable laws, regulations, and administrative policies.

USIQ takes the security of our customers’ financial information very seriously. All international orders regardless of payment method are subject to our order verification process. By limiting fraudulent transactions and verifying order information ahead of time, we are able to provide consistently low prices and superior service, while maintaining the security of the ordering process and limiting unnecessary expenses.
